Who we are

This website is run by M J Builders (London) Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 12281746. Registered office: Aurora House, 71-75 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 5SL. You can contact us about privacy on 07774 466430 or by email at mjbuilderslondonltd@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you send us a quote request, we receive the details you enter: your name, phone number, email address, the postcode of the property, information about your project, your preferred visit times, how you heard about us and any drawings or photos you upload.

How we use it

We use these details only to respond to your enquiry, arrange a visit and prepare a quote. We rely on your consent and on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We do not sell your details or use them for marketing.

Who we share it with

Our website is hosted by Netlify, which also runs our quote form. When you send the form, your details and any files you upload are processed and stored by Netlify for us, and a copy of your enquiry is sent to our business email inbox, which is a Gmail account provided by Google. These providers act on our behalf and may process data outside the UK, with safeguards in place as required by UK data protection law. We do not share your details with anyone else unless you ask us to or the law requires it.

How long we keep it

If your enquiry does not lead to work, we delete your details, including any uploaded files, within 24 months of our last contact with you. If we carry out work for you, we keep the records we need for as long as required to meet our legal, insurance and accounting obligations.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. To do this, call us on 07774 466430 or email mjbuilderslondonltd@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
